Groundec products were originally designed for cable-laying sites in eastern Finland, where machines are truly put to the test and maintenance opportunities are limited. Our aim is to ensure reliable, effective and ecological underground cable laying in any scenario anywhere in the world. That’s why our products are made to last and optimized to the finest detail to boost your daily work.

Groundec’s parent company, Viestra, is one of the most experienced cable-plowing companies in Finland. We performed our first cable-plowing contracts in 1987. We’ve been plowing ever since, laying almost ten thousand kilometers of cable in the ground. This experience has given us the foundation to design and manufacture work equipment suited to cable construction.
